A Day In Your Life

Ok..so I grew up in a family of mostly girls and one brother. And now I am a mom to four..boys! So, for me, photographing boys..who are not babies..is so interesting to me. Boys don’t necessarily want to pose for the camera..At these ages they seem stuck between child and adult or teen and there has to be some serious quick thinking on my end in order to evoke ANY emotion! I love this next set of photos of Corey and Zachary..so classic. The first few shots were a bit “American Gothic” if you will:) And then…there was a spark of emotion..a smile..a laugh! Somewhere in these photos there is a connection! A touch with the hand, a look, a smile..that tells us they are more than just two boys sitting on a fence! Love it!
